  1. Hi Lori,
Great job on creating your blog. You mentioned that you are a Pre-K teacher, what got you interested in technology?

  2. What got me interest in technology is that it is all around us. I have a teenage daughter who always wants to get the lastest gadget, so I just have to keep up with her. I also think what got my interested is that I am not afraid of using the last technology gadgets or programs.

  3. I agree with your views on having school teachers become more proficient in the use of technology in the classroom. You mention being a Pre-K teacher, I am sure that your classroom must have a computer lab environment even for children of that age. If not, then I am sure you will be pushing for that to become a reality. It would certainly benefit your students in their future academic careers.

  4. I have a niece that is entering her teen years and is the same way. Whatever new technology comes out she wants. You just have to try and keep up. The sad part about it is that the "new" technology becomes outdated pretty quick.

  5. Raquel, you are right; technology does become outdated quickly. This is why blogs like this can be a great resource. I love reading about what other people have found and what they are using in the classroom. So Lori, what technology do you use in your classroom? I mean, pre-k must be a challenge!

  6. Yes, Liza Pre-k is a challenge I try to use technology as much as possible with my students. I have a smart board in my classroom and I let the student interact with it as much as possible, for them to go up and actually use it. I also I have some computers, I have taught my students how to log onto the internet and find certain website they can interact in also. As much of a challenge it might be I truely love my job.
